Cocaine Energy Drink contains something close to it though, without the manufacturers going behind bars. It has three times the caffeine compared to your usual energy drink!

 

Cocaine Energy Drink is  350% more potent that the leading energy drink in the market, Red Bull. It did a little twist to the usual formula for energy drinks. Instead of sweetening it with HFCS (high fructose corn syrup), it actually uses dextrose (monosaccharide) as a sweetener. It has been tagged as 'the ultimate energy drink'. It contains 280 mg. of caffeine in an 8.4 oz. drink. That is about as much caffeine as espresso but with a much cooler tang and taste.

 

James Kirby, the genius inventor behind the controversial drink, did get a lot of raised eyebrows when he thought of the brand name Cocaine. As so expected, it hit the market with a smash as curious consumers get intrigued what's the real score behind such a name. The first things buyers might have done are to look at the label and look for the word 'cocaine' in it, but to no avail.
